Sysmex history started in Kobe, Japan, in 1968. With just eight employees, the company was originally called TOA Medical Electronics (a branch of the TOA Corporation). The Sysmex brand was then established in 1978. TOA Medical Electronics later was renamed Sysmex Corporation in 1998, after the world-wide recognition of the Sysmex brand.

Sysmex Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of Sysmex Corporation of Japan. Initially set up as a Representative Office in 1994, it was subsequently established as Sysmex Singapore Pte Ltd in 1998 and eventually became known as Sysmex Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in October 2005. Located at the centre of regional market operations, Singapore is Sysmex’s headquarters in the Asia Pacific region.

Since the start of direct sales in the Russian Federation in 2011. Sysmex Rus LLC has been building capacity in hematology, urinalysis and hemostasis.  A production site in the Moscow region and a training academy with a specialized training center in Moscow were opened to strengthen cooperation with local distributors and customers through close relationships and direct support.

Since its inception, Sysmex Rus LLC has grown from a small satellite office to a highly professional head office with over 100 employees. We strive to maintain the spirit of commitment to solving complex scientific problems and developing innovations instilled by our founders.
